bom dia, dreams!

In 2010 I had a conversation, during which the idea of travelling to Europe came up. When talking about where I would go, a friend said, "Why not just start in Portugal and work your way east?" At the time I had barely left my state, let alone travelled across an ocean and the idea of Europe seemed absolutely unattainable. Now, I find myself in the delightful position of being about 30 days away from being there. I am embracing this new horizon (and hopefully will get some wonderful poems out of it!).
